This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and tracking incoming garage doors, parts, and hardware; staging materials for installation teams and wholesale customers; and supporting the overall cleanliness, safety, and organization of the warehouse environment.
Receive, inspect, and accurately document incoming shipments of garage doors, openers, hardware, and related supplies.
Pick and stage materials precisely for daily installation and service jobs.
Prepare and load orders for wholesale customer pickups and scheduled deliveries.
Maintain organized inventory and proper storage of garage doors, tracks, and associated components.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock audits, and overall warehouse organization.
Ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and compliant with company policies and OSHA standards.
Communicate clearly and professionally with installers, technicians, office staff, and wholesale customers.
Provide courteous and accurate support during customer pickups.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time at their sole and complete discretion.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing is required.
Warehousing experience in (door industry or construction is preferred. Experience with material handling a plus.)
A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
Ability to read and interpret order tickets, part numbers, and packing slips accurately.
Experience with inventory cycle counting is a plus.
Forklift certification preferred (training available if not certified).
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude.
Valid driver's license preferred (for occasional deliveries, if required).
This position operates in a warehouse environment and involves frequent physical activity.
Employees are required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift or move items up to 75 pounds throughout the shift.
The work environment may be subject to temperature changes, including non-climate-controlled areas during summer and winter months.
Exposure to noise, dust, and moving mechanical equipment is common.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots must be worn at all times.
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend shifts based on operational needs.
Overtime may be required during peak periods.
Repetitive standing, lifting, reaching, bending, climbing, and kneeling required.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
