Security Guard

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the dealership employees and customers in accordance with company policies. Shift: 8 PM - 5 AM Thursday - Sunday.

Essential Functions:

• Enforces rules and regulations to provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and vendors in accordance with company policies.
• Enforce no-smoking policies.
• Enforces employee parking policies.
• Arranges for the removal of vehicles that are illegally parked or have been abandoned on dealership property.
• Ensure that there are all individuals company premises have legal right to be there.
• Assists in the removal of individuals as required.
• Investigate any wrongdoings such as theft, misconduct, and vandalism at the direction of Supervisor and involves local authorities in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Responsible for complex keys.
• Patrol, document, report, and follow-up on safety and security hazards or infractions.
• Reports all hazards and incidents promptly to management.
• Serve as first responder for any security issues.
• Respond to any emergency response situation on dealership premises.
• Coordinate hours and coverage of security staff through security vendor.
• Serve as back-up to safety coordinator for facility.
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in accordance with company policies.
• Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to working with hazardous materials. Reports any deviations to management immediately.
• Follows all attendance and punctuality standards with adherences to timekeeping standards.
• Follows the Company Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.
• Understands and follow all work rules and procedures and follows lawful directions from Supervisors.
• Upholds the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
• Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company policy.
• Attends pertinent training on request.
• Attends company meetings as required.
