$21.50 per hourGENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: The Material Handler position assumes responsibilities for staging, replenishing and picking all materials required to fill store and dealer orders. Material Handlers are required to meet and exceed all daily job tasks. Material Handlers must meet operationalgoals for safety, quality, and housekeeping. The job requires a high level of comfort with electronic motorized equipment and the ability to navigate through a RF scan gun with no intervention.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Maintain a safe working environment, assuring compliance with all safety requirements and acting as a positive influence on the warehouse floor for other personnel* Required to wear Steel toe boots, safety glasses.* Meet "Best in Class" expectations for housekeeping and quality of material selected for all orders.* Actively participates in CI (Continuous Improvement) Team activities, striving to meet and exceed operational goals for cost, quality, and throughput* Be able to work in a structured environment, follow procedures and processes while continually moving at a heightened pace.* Handlers are held responsible for pick and replenish accuracy.* Required to maintain in good standings regarding attendance and tardiness.* Capable of lifting at least sixty pounds and required to stand/walk 90% of the workday.* Maintain appropriate licenses and certifications (forklift)* Follows all Phoenix Manufacturing/Distribution outlined expected standards and plant rules* The roles and responsibilities are not inclusive. Management may assign other duties based on staffing and workload.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. 3-6 months of warehouse work or related experience required.
