Join our team as a Cashier Assistant!

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support our front-end service and provide outstanding customer experiences. As a Cashier Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a pleasant shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bags groceries with care and attention.
• Retrieves shopping carts and baskets from the parking area.
• Cleans, sweeps, mops, and stocks products to maintain a tidy department.
• May operate cash register equipment when needed.
• Assists in managing customer flow and addressing backed-up lines efficiently.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and ready to serve.
• Delivers excellent customer service to all shoppers.
• Aims to maximize sales potential during shifts.
• Adheres to established procedures and company policies.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Engages in additional duties as directed by management.

Experience:

No prior retail experience is required.

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work involves standing or walking for 6-8 hours during a shift.
• Requires hand use for grasping, fine manipulation, and pushing/pulling.
• Involves bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching throughout the day.
• Potential exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Work in varying temperatures: below 32°F (freezing), 32-40°F (refrigerators), and up to 90°F.
• Ability to work in wet and cold environments.
• Must be flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment, including box cutters and electric pallet jacks, is beneficial.
