Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Cashier and Stock Associate and play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our valued customers. This position offers daily variety and the opportunity to work collaboratively with fellow team members.

Position Type: Part-Time Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00

Cashier Duties:

• Efficiently process customer transactions while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Provide constructive feedback to management concerning products, inventory discrepancies, and general issues.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and monitor stock for accuracy.
• Adhere strictly to cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Stock Associate Duties:

• Stock shelves regularly and rotate products to guarantee customers have access to fresh items.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to maintain appealing product displays.
• Organize new shipments, managing empty packaging efficiently.
• Operate machinery safely and adhere to all safety regulations.

Physical Requirements:

This role requires regular movement, including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking throughout the store. Stock Associates should be capable of lifting products weighing up to 45 pounds and placing them on shelves at various heights.

Specific Roles:

• Cashier: Must operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency.
• Stock Associate: Must have morning availability, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m. and possess the ability to handle equipment safely, including manual/electric hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a retail environment is advantageous, although a combination of education and experience that imparts equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
