JOB SUMMARY:

As a Member Engagement Coordinator, you will work closely with Sales Client Management and Sales Executive teams to develop and implement smooth transition strategies for members to AHN and communityproviders, ensuring a seamless experience. You will play a critical role in educating members about their insurance benefits, the financial implications of healthcare decisions, and the importance of finding the right care in the right place and at the right time. Your efforts will significantly influence member behavior and lead to favorable outcomes for both care costs and company profitability.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Empower members to make informed healthcare choices by connecting them with appropriate in-network providers and ensuring they are aware of available tools for transitioning to AHN or community providers.
  • Act as an advocate for members by assisting with medical record transfers, organizing timely appointments, and resolving claims or billing issues. Educate members about access to comprehensive clinical care and showcase the quality and outcomes provided by our network partners.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to implement sales strategies that support enrollment events designed to maintain and grow membership, contributing to organizational profitability.
  • Participate in developing and executing sales strategies focused on contract growth and retention for HMIG products, scheduling and facilitating meetings with employers, members, and providers.
  • Gather feedback from members to identify operational issues and work with various internal departments (such as Product Management, membership, and claims) to initiate improvements, fostering a strong teamwork culture with experts across the organization.
  • Encourage positive changes in member behaviors by developing strategies that motivate action from both executives and individual members, including creating incentive models and demonstrating the financial impacts of healthcare choices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.

Substitutions

  • 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • 3 years of prior experience in sales or client consulting, preferably in the insurance sector.

LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS

Required

  • None.

Preferred

  • Producer License in Life, Accident & Health.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL DEMANDS and WORKING CONDITIONS

Position Type: Office-based, may include teaching/training other staff.

Lifting requirements: up to 10 pounds frequently, 10 to 25 pounds occasionally.

Pay Range Minimum: $24.53
