CHANDLER UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTCLASSIFICATION: SUPPORT STAFFJOB TITLE: WAREHOUSE AND DELIVERY ASSOCIATECALENDAR: 2611H (12 MONTH)SALARY: GRADE 110 (SUPPORT HOURLY)Job Goal:Assist in the storage, receiving, and distribution of district materials, supplies, and furniture.Minimum Qualifications:* Ability to read and write English as it pertains to job functions* Valid AZ Driver's License and three years citation-free driving record* Computer experience with standard software products* Satisfactory criminal background checkCore Job Functions:* Load and unload delivery trucks with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand* Process shipments, checking for accuracy and calling vendors on discrepancies* Drive an appropriate vehicle to pick up and deliver materials* Assist in maintaining surplus property and in completing the annual inventory count* Keep the physical plant clean, safe, and functional* Assist with central mail duties as assigned by the supervisor* Organize an efficient work schedule for the pick-up and delivery of materials* Route items, maintain logs and receipts, and submit accurate information to the appropriate department* Coordinate the daily operations of the central warehouse, including annual inventory count* Conduct and reconcile inventory* Assist with stock purchases and supply needs* Keep the physical plant clean, safe, and functional* Assist with employment procedures, including payroll* Report safety/security hazards and needs for major repairs in an expeditious manner* Use safe driving practices and operate and care for the school district's equipment properly* Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the positionCore Values:* Excellence in all we do. They must be able to use a push/pull force of up to 50 pounds for machines and lift items up to 30 pounds.
