We are seeking a motivated and skilled Asset Condition Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will lead asset data collection projects and manage a dedicated team specializing in Property and Facility Condition Assessments. You will conduct in-depth assessments of commercial building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), ensuring delivery of high-quality assessments on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed walk-through surveys to assess the condition of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, structural elements, and site improvements.
  • Engage effectively with property owners, occupants, and local officials to collect essential information regarding property conditions.
  • Analyze maintenance reports and inspection logs to evaluate building conditions comprehensively.
  • Document findings through high-quality photographs and thorough reports.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for remediation of building deficiencies for various timeframes (5 to 50 years).
  • Demonstrate expertise in specialized areas such as Seismic, ADA compliance, or MEP systems.
  • Effectively communicate project progress and findings to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial building evaluation or design, possessing a solid understanding of all building systems.
  • 3-5 years of experience in composing Property or Facility Condition Assessment Reports.
  • Preferred certifications: Professional Engineer or Registered Architect.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%).

Desired Experience:

  • Registration as an Architect or a Licensed Engineer; industry-specific certifications are advantageous.
  • Financial skills to carry out fundamental analyses.
  • Capacity to communicate technical information clearly to a non-technical audience.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and possess strong communication skills.
