Front Desk/Member Services Representative

The Front Desk / Member Services Representative serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional service and support while ensuring accurate records, smooth daily operations, and a welcoming club environment. This role supports the Membership Director, assists members with a wide range of needs, and helps coordinate club activities, events, and communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Assist members with account-related needs including password resets, guest passes, profile updates, and booking groups or activities
  • Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments
  • Maintain accurate club records, including phone lists and member information
  • Assist the Membership Director with administrative tasks as needed
  • Support new member orientation, including tours and onboarding assistance
  • Record daily event attendance counts in spreadsheets
  • Record daily group counts in spreadsheets
  • Maintain and update the New Member and New Homeowner lists
  • Book groups and other nonfood and beverage events
  • Prepare and maintain weekly club schedules and daily Desert Pavilion schedules
  • Create and maintain weekly rosters and tent cards
  • Track yearly lists of upcoming club events, including open and closing dates
  • Manage charge lists and name tags for events
  • Create and distribute flyers for club events
  • Manage mailbox kiosks and assist members as needed
  • Stock and deep clean the Desert Pavilion area
  • Ensure event spaces are properly set up, including room configurations and tablecloth placement
  • Manage TV screens and binders for advertising and promotional purposes
  • Take photos at club events as needed
  • Handle packages occasionally, up to 50 pounds

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • Proficiency in Canva
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Work Environment:

  • This position is primarily based at the club's front desk and common areas and may require standing for extended periods, interacting with members throughout the day, and occasional physical tasks related to event setup and package handling.
