Any applicants having a confirmed positive test shall not be eligible for employment.Key Responsibilities:* Safely transport mail, supplies, equipment and other materials to designated school sites, and facilities and county, state and federal offices on a daily time sensitive schedule* Pick up items for immediate, next day or future delivery and to deliver to designated facilities and or persons; pick up and deliver stock and non-stock items as required* Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turn around times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service* Unload freight and check for shortages and damages and verify correct description and quantity against purchase order* Correctly identify incoming stock items, complete required forms, put stock in storage location and restock supplies as needed* Receive stock on OBARS for accounts payable and on TMA for inventory control* Issue stock per work order and update inventory on TMA* Assist in maintaining perpetual inventory of warehouse items* Operate standard office equipment such as computer, copy machine, fax machine, etc.* Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit* Regular and on-time attendance require* Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public SchoolsRequired Qualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent* Valid Drivers License with a good driving recordSkills & Competencies:* Models the attributes and skills of the MPS Portrait of a Graduate* Demonstrates commitment to the MPS Promise that every student is known by name, served by strength and need, and graduates ready for college, career and community* Ability to safely operate an automobile, small truck, delivery van, forklift and other warehouse equipment* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision* Must be able to organize and prioritize* Previous warehousing experience* Good physical condition and ability to safely lift up to and including 75-100 pounds* Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with district employees and public* Knowledge of District policies and procedures helpful* Knowledge of or ability to learn basic computer operationsWork Environment & Physical Requirements:* Primarily based in a warehouse facility operated by the school district.
