OMEX is seeking a temporary 90-day employee to provide day porter services.

Must have a Fingerprint Clearance Card at the time of applying for the job. Position is available starting Monday February 2 - February 26, 2026. The position could be extended.

The Day Porter performs manual labor associated with the cleaning of the lobby, restrooms, break areas, and entrances. Duties require moderate physical strength and stamina. Work includes dust mopping, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, and operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment. The performance of these duties is Monday - Thursday Day shift (6am - 4pm) hours subject to change. Only at: 18211 W. Las Brisas Dr., Goodyear, AZ 85338
(6am - 4pm) FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD REQUIRED

Regular Responsibilities include but not limited to:

1. Empty trash containers and recycle receptacles (including outside immediate area).

2. Dust mop, sweep, wet mop, floors (pick up spills both liquid and solid waste).

3. Clean restroom fixtures and keep restroom supplied with towels, toilet tissue, soap, and other items.

4. Empty trash in break room area.

5. Clean door glass interior and exterior.

6. Police areas around outside of building (including tables, benches, trash and ashtrays)

7. Perform related work as required and instructed

8. Campus unlocked every morning by 6:30am.

9. Cross walk signs put out daily by 6:45am

10. Cafeteria tables out and set up by 10:15am and break down after 6th grade lunch at 1:10pm

Requirements:

FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD REQUIRED

Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment

Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength

Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment

Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions in the performance of the job

Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor and fellow workers

Spearhead specialized projects which may or may not be directly related to cleaning.

Knowledge and operations of mechanical cleaning equipment

Knowledge in floor care for both carpet and hard floor

Perform equipment and supply inventory at facility location
