Are you passionate about providing exceptional guest service, food, wine, and hospitality? As a Tasting Room Host, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience. You'll engage our guests with friendly, team-oriented service while sharing your knowledge about our exquisite Cooper's Hawk products and wines. In addition, you will help grow our Wine Club community by educating guests and inviting them to join.

Responsibilities Include:

• Warmly greet all guests and respond to inquiries about food, wine, and Wine Club offerings.
• Keep updated on the menu, wine offerings, retail goods, and upcoming events.
• Build rapport with guests to create a memorable experience.
• Actively promote the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club and its benefits to guests.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of the Tasting Room's operations, including tasting procedures and featured wines.
• Support Host and Service Assistant teams as needed.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly in line with company standards.
• Assist with carryout and curbside delivery orders.
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the Tasting Room.
• Restock and attractively display wine and retail merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area.
• Complete side work during slower periods.
• Utilize the POS system according to company procedures and handle cash accurately.
• Follow standard operating procedures for opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong alignment with Cooper's Hawk Values.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous experience in a casual or upscale dining environment or retail is preferred.
• Experience with wine or related products is a plus.
• Customer-focused approach with a love for guest service, food, and wine.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in a team environment.
• Comfortable educating guests about membership programs and inviting them to join.
• Proficient in POS systems.
• Clear communication skills with guests, managers, and team members.
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a fast-paced setting.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and some holidays.
