Since 1954, Woodgrain is proud to be family owned and operated./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:/h3ulliOperates forklift in a safe and efficient manner according to company guidelines./liliInspects and records maintenance on vehicle at the beginning and end of shift./liliUses forklift to move material from warehouse staging location to the trailer for loading./liliUtilizes proper loading techniques to ensure the material is safe, stable, and secure on the trailer./liliChecks trailer for accurate shipment and bill of lading; unloads trailers containing lumber, etc./liliOversees the organization and inventory of the shipping warehouse./liliComplies with company standard operating procedures, safety policies, and OSHA standards./liliOperates a handheld scanner to pick material from dedicated locations in the warehouse./liliEfficiently picks customer orders for shipment ensuring that the order is complete, accurate, and free of damage./liliAppropriately lifts and stacks material on carts to ensure material may be properly wrapped, package units when pulling is completed, prints and places shipping labels on materials./liliAssists with physical inventories as required while maintaining a orderly work area./liliAttends safety meetings as required./liliOther duties as assigned by supervisor./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or GED; and 6 months to 1 year related experience or on-the-job training/liliMust be able to complete an internal certification process./liliAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
