What You'll Do:
+ Greet and screen individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries and directions related to the premises.
+ Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
+ Observe and report any suspicious behaviors, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate authorities and/or management.
+ Support emergency response activities in line with established protocols for the location.
+ Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required.
Minimum Requirements:
+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
