Responsibilities:

As a Caregiver/Nursing Assistant, you will perform essential support functions to assist licensed resident care staff in delivering high-quality care to our residents. This is a safety-sensitive position that includes:

• Providing personal care and psychosocial support to residents as assigned.
• Assisting with activities of daily living.
• Helping with light housekeeping tasks.
• Ensuring a safe environment for all residents.
• Performing vital signs and weights as needed.
• Encouraging participation in activities and socialization.
• Carrying out other care-related duties as needed.
• Assisting with dining services/tray service when necessary.
• Identifying and reporting any deviations from safe practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent preferred.
• Work Experience: Prior experience working with geriatric clients preferred.
• Licensure / Certification: Current state certification and relevant experience are required. Food handlers certification where needed. Current CPR and First Aid certification is required or must be willing to obtain First Aid certification.

Pay Range: USD $18.94 - USD $22.72 /Hr.
