Job Summary

We are seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team. In this role, you will maintain and keep in good repair ponds, water gardens, fountains and maintain water conditions, plants and aquatic life, pond husbandry Ultimately, your goal is to keep the water features surroundings beautiful. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with a strong understanding of pond and water feature care and landscaping.

Responsibilities:

maintain ponds and water features scrub, skim, trim plants, maintain filters and equipment, pond and water garden husbandry in feature areas

Maintain garden areas, including trimming, skimming, vacuuming, water changes keep equiptment in good running repair.

Trim plants

Maintain clean water feature area

Operate hand tools, power washer, vacuum, pumps, as well as other pond equipment

implement any required specialized services and treatments that insure good husbandry.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a pond, water feature, Groundskeeper, Landscaper, or other position is preferred

High school diploma/GED is preferred

Familiarity with landscaping equipment and machinery

Understanding of irrigation, water pvc systems

Knowledge of good husbandry techniques

Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, and standing for long periods

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
