Warehouse Associate - Receiving & Shipping
Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting receiving, shipping, and inventory control operations within the distribution center. Duties include packaging, crating, bundling, and preparing products for inbound and outbound shipments. Associates will utilize banding equipment, stretch-wrap machines, and RF scanners. Primary work areas include inbound breakdown zones and active outbound picking areas.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving Operations
- Unload inbound product and prepare materials for receiving
- Crate and organize incoming shipments accurately
- Report damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies immediately
Shipping Operations - Pick, crate, and prepare outbound product for shipment
- Ensure shipments are properly packaged and labeled
Inventory & Facility Support - Perform inventory counts within assigned areas to maintain accuracy
- Enter and verify product movement using RF scanners
- Return all non-MHE equipment to designated storage areas at the end of each shift
- Notify management of facility issues, equipment needs, or safety concerns
Safety & Compliance - Follow proper lifting techniques and request assistance when needed
- Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions
- Report all work-related injuries and safety violations immediately
- Comply with OSHA, MSDS, and all applicable safety regulations
Additional Duties - Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor, operations manager, or DC manager
Qualifications - Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug test and background check
- Reliable transportation

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements - Ability to handle materials and operate warehouse equipment
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, squatting, reaching above shoulder level, and crouching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper techniques
