Position Title: Hall Monitor

Summary:
The Hall Monitor supports campus safety by supervising hallways, common areas, restrooms, and entry/exit points to ensure a safe, orderly, and respectful environment for students and staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor hallways, restrooms, and other common areas throughout the school day
• Greet and direct students appropriately
• Ensure students are in class during instructional time and address eloping or unsafe behavior
• Assist with arrival, dismissal, and transition times
• Report incidents, safety concerns, or unauthorized individuals to administration
• Support enforcement of school policies and campus expectations
• Provide assistance during emergencies, drills, and other safety procedures
• Build positive rapport with students and promote a safe school climate

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with school-age children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and assertive when addressing student behavior
• Reliable, punctual, and attentive to detail

• Indoor/outdoor campus settings
• Standing and walking for extended periods
