1st Shift Schedule: 5:00am-1:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY: Will perform a variety of tasks involved in the assembly of electrical and mechanical force transducers, including soldering using fine gauge solid wire with the use of magnification devices including microscopes. The candidate will maintain a high degree of quality while following set procedures and detailed drawings. Must work individually and as a team as required to achieve production volumes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare cables and connectors
- Fine wire soldering skills
- Work with cleaning agents to remove residue flux
- Able to operate various small hand tools
- Review travelers for completion

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to read schematics
- Must be able to read and write English
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: - 1-year soldering experience
- Microscope experience desirable
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position is based indoors in a production environment with loud machinery. Chemicals are also present, and the use of proper PPE is required.
