Job Details

Position Summary:
The position is responsible for performing activities including but not limited to support of receiving product, shipping product, and inventory control of product. Activities include packaging, crating, bundling, and preparing product for shipment and receiving. Work may include use of banding, stretch wrap machines and RF scanners. Primary work area will be in breakdown areas for inbound operations, as well as active picking areas for outbound operations.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

1. Receiving Product: Upon receiving product, unload, crate, and prepare for receiving.
2. Shipping Product: When shipping product, pick, crate, and prepare for shipping.
3. Report any damaged material, short quantities or discrepancies to management immediately.
4. Notify management immediately concerning facility issues and needs.
5. Return all equipment to correct storage areas at the end of each day (non MHE).
6. Count inventory within assigned areas for inventory accuracy.
7. Utilize proper lifting techniques and ask for help when necessary
8. Attend all safety training meetings.
9. Report all work-related injuries and safety violations to RDC Manager or RDC Assistant Manager
10. Comply with governmental safety regulations (OSHA and MSDS)
11. All other duties as assigned and outlined by the supervisor, operations, or DC manager.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug test and background check.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:

• Able to physically handle material in the warehouse and work with all warehouse equipment
• Must be capable of sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
• Must be able to use proper techniques to lift 50 pounds
