Description:

Experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector/CMM Programmer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Inspector for our first shift. The ideal candidate will ensure the highest quality standards in our products, using their expertise in quality control and inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, comparators, and surface layouts.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications with a solid understanding of GD&T.
  • Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Utilize experience with AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, PFMEA, and related aerospace industry standards.
  • Document first articles using Net Inspect and Discus.
  • Engage in quality control processes with a positive attitude and self-motivation.

Essential Skills:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in industries such as aerospace, automotive, or medical device.
  • Proficiency in standard inspection equipment and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to program and run CMM.
  • Understanding and interpretation of GD&T and engineering drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • AS9102 (FAI) and Discus experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Jobboss MRP system is preferred.
  • Experience with first article documentation using Net Inspect and Discus.

Work Environment:

The Quality Inspector will work in an enclosed inspection area, equipped with all necessary tools. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
