QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way Service Standards: Smile and Greet, Name and Meet, Thank you, and Goodbye.

Responsible for providing a constant supply of clean linens for the entire hotel and may also be responsible for cleaning guests' personal items if the hotel offers a cleaning service.

Sorts linens for washer.

Removes stains from badly soiled linen.

Disposes of linen and terry properly.

Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensure that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used.

Folds linens to hotel standards and keeps stock organized in designated places.

Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards.

Keeps laundry, neat and clean.

Assists housekeepers in cleaning the hotel.

Assists with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas.

Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Must have a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Must commit to delivering a high level of customer service.

Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.

Ability to work under pressure and under my own initiative.

Ability to follow directions both written and verbally.

Experience communicating with people of diverse demographics.

Capacity to work as a member of a team or an individual.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with multi-tasking skills.

Must be able to walk, stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for most of the day.

Ability to work in moderately noisy work environments for long periods of time and communicate effectively in this environment.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion.

Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

A minimum of one year's experience in a housekeeping or laundry role is required.

INDIAN PREFERENCE:

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes. To be considered for Indian Preference, you must submit your Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) with your application.
