PACKER/SHIPPER

This is a 1st shift position.

Job Description: The Packer/shipper will be responsible
for packing/crating our product.
Duties:
Packers will follow packing instructions dictated by the Shop Work Order
paperwork.
All counts are to be verified by the Packer to ensure that the correct quantity
of parts is being packed per Shop Work Order paperwork.
Labels are to be filled out and applied to bundles or crates identifying type
of products and quantities.
All Shop Work Order paperwork is to be completely filled out with the
number of bundles and the quantity in each bundle.
At times the Packer will need to build crates for shipping our product. Crates
will be built with the following tools: Chop saw, tape measure, nail gun, etc..

SKILLS NEEDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Basic Math
Able to lift / handle product repeatedly
Able to stand for 8 hours
Read a tape measure (A 2 step test will be given at the time of interview)
To use a chop saw
Able to use a nail gun
To help in other departments when needed
Accuracy
Collaboration

Background & Drug Screen Administered.
