Job Title: Assembly & Test Operator II
Location: Glendale, AZ
Shift:3rd Shift hours: 11 pm-7 am, Sunday night through Thursday
Duration: Temp to Hire

Position Summary/Essential Functions:
With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for routine assembling/testing, lock wiring and final product detailing functions. Perform basic assembly and test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a production environment.

Responsibilities:
" Required to hand deburr.
" Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
" Produce and inspect assemblies for complete conformance to specification.
" Rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
" Record test results on data forms.
" Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications and quality directives.
" Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
" May be required to run an automatic weld machine.
" Perform other related responsibilities.

Qualifications:
" HS diploma or equivalent.
" 6 months assembly/test or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform the described responsibilities.
" Must demonstrate manual dexterity.
" Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
" Must be able to read and understand blueprints.
" Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics.
" Must demonstrate effective English verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
" Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player
