Shift: 12 pm - 8:30pm

Pay Range: $18.25- $18.25 Hourly

Job Title: Shipping Associate

Job Summary:

The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role ensures all outbound shipments meet quality standards, follow company procedures, and are completed within required timelines. The Shipping Associate works closely with warehouse staff, leads, and supervisors to maintain workflow and support daily operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment following company guidelines and quality standards.
• Verify accuracy of orders, ensuring correct quantities, labeling, and documentation.
• Create and print shipping labels, bills of lading, and required paperwork using company systems.
• Operate and troubleshoot RFID scanners to track, scan, and verify outbound items.
• Load packages onto trucks or pallets safely and efficiently.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or inconsistencies before sending.
• Communicate any order issues, delays, or inventory discrepancies to the lead or supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, handheld scanners) as required.
• Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Computer savvy with the ability to navigate shipping software and warehouse systems.
• Experience using RFID scanners or similar handheld scanning devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
