Description:

Our client is seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Family Assistant to help keep their home running smoothly. This role involves a variety of day-to-day responsibilities, including managing household logistics, overseeing vendors and deliveries, assisting with organization and errands, and providing occasional child care for their 9-year-old child. The ideal candidate is a great communicator, highly organized, tech-savvy, and able to take initiative while staying in close communication with the client. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and service professionals working at the home

  • Accept, sort, and manage incoming packages and deliveries

  • Handle returns, including taking items to the post office

  • Shop for household items and groceries as needed (in-store and online)

  • Keep the home tidy and organized (daily decluttering, dishes, laundry)

  • Assist with household organization projects

  • Light housekeeping of the 7,000sf home between visits from bi-weekly cleaning service

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • 5+ years of similar experience

  • Strong communication and high attention to detail

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable ordering online, managing returns, etc.

  • Comfortable around dogs

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality

Schedule: Flexible, approximately 20 - 30 hours per week

Salary: $35 - $45 per hour
