Your Role
As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a key role in supporting our production and recycling operations. You'll safely operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport, process, and position vehicles, helping ensure efficient, environmentally responsible operations while maintaining our commitment to safety and teamwork.
WhatYou'llDo as a Forklift Operator
Promote a "Safety First" culture and follow all environmental, health, and safety standards
Operate forklifts to transport, process, and dismantle vehicles safely and efficiently
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and report any issues to supervisors
Clean, service, and make minor repairs to forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
Assist in training team members in safe forklift operation
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices (SOPs)
Wear proper PPE and adhere to company dress code requirements
Support production goals and meet performance standards
Assist teammates and complete additional salvage and recycling tasks as assigned
Work standard production hours (Monday-Friday), with occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays
What You Bring as a Forklift Operator
Experience operating a forklift (certification preferred)
Commitment to safety and professionalism
General mechanical knowledge or automotive understanding
Ability to follow safety protocols and work independently
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic computer and mobile device skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation
Preferred:
Forklift Operator Certification
Knowledge of auto parts or salvage operations
Experience with heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, tow motors, etc.)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
