The fundamental reason this classification exists is to perform skilled level electrical work in the installation, alteration, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with standard practices of the electrical trade and to perform skilled level instrumentation and programming work for water treatment, wastewater treatment, and water distribution systems. This is a lead electrician position and treated as a non-exempt position.
Completion of a recognized four year electrical apprenticeship program, or equivalent training, or three years of experience as a skilled electrician. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted. Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license and be able to meet the Community's insurance carrier requirements (see list on website or attached to application.) Must complete and pass a background check.
