Function in the Job

Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function

• Observes load hookup and determines safety of load.

• Manipulates or depresses crane control buttons, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.

• Uses hoisting attachments such as hook, sling, magnet, or plate grab as load requires.

• Daily inspection of cranes working parts and logs on crane inspection report

• Operates forklift in safe and proficient manner. Inspects forklift daily and performs any preventive or minor maintenance required.

• Pulls material and verifies correct product for Will Calls or next day delivery.

• Wears hard hat, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves and ear protection.

• All other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Skills

General math including understanding of decimals and fractions. Measuring. Basic computer skills for data entry. Color vision.
