Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operator 2 - Forklift Operator to join our Post Harvest & Logistics team. This role is critical in keeping operations running smoothly by handling product after harvest, ensuring accurate records, and maintaining safe transport of goods.

What You'll Do

• Conduct daily forklift inspections before operating.
• Receive harvested product from the field and unload it into the cooling area.
• Organize and secure product on pallets or skids for safe transport.
• Weigh product/materials, record accurate weights, and update labels and tags.
• Transport cooled product within the facility.
• Wrap palletized loads and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized cooling area.
• Report equipment damage or safety hazards immediately.
• Coordinate with supervisors, managers, and equipment vendors as needed.
• Support teammates respectfully and collaborate to meet goals.
• Adhere to all company and food safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of forklift operating experience (required).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong work ethic and safety-first mindset.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Sit or stand for long periods while operating equipment.
• Perform physical tasks: climbing, lifting, bending, balancing, and moving materials.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Work in a wide range of weather conditions (30°F to 110°F).
• Adapt to changing schedules based on harvest needs.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, and weekends.
