PGS Worldwide is hiring a Material Handler in Phoenix, AZ for a 12-month contract-to-hire position. This role ensures continuous production flow by moving, tracking, and verifying materials within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. The position follows a Monday–Thursday schedule, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or stockroom environment (or equivalent technical schooling)

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, reports, and documentation accurately

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle

• Hands-on experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production workflows

• Ability to use both hands for material handling, inspection, and packaging tasks

• Must be capable of lifting, pulling, or moving up to 50 lbs unaided

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict quality and timing standards

Preferred Skills

• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing environments

• Familiarity with logistics processes, such as replenishment, stock rotation, and inventory control

• Strong teamwork and communication skills across departments

Responsibilities

• Move materials and components to support continuous production flow

• Record and track material movements using ERP or data entry systems

• Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in inventory systems

• Support kitting, staging, and replenishment of production materials

• Handle incoming and outgoing materials safely and efficiently

• Maintain clean and organized storage and production areas

• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory standards required in aerospace environments

• Collaborate with leads and supervisors to resolve inventory or production flow issues
