Production Operator

Our Molex facility in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Operator to join our team and work on assembling custom fiber optic bundles. As an Assembler, you will be a key member of our team, contributing to the creation of high-quality products that meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in a mechanically challenging job and a track record of success in concentrating on complex tasks. Our Assembler team works in a clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled area where they will be following SOPs to assemble the Fiber Optics and operating a microscope to inspect product surfaces. Join us at Molex, where you can grow your career and make a difference in the world of fiber optics.

Responsibilities of the job include:

• Prepping, Assembling, and Packaging
• Identifying process/product problems/troubleshooting
• Following procedures/drawings & work instructions accurately without repetitive mistakes Works on completing requirements for Training checklists
• Responsible for meeting daily shift goals for both quantity and quality
• Responsible for the proper handling of fiber (measuring, cleaning, inspecting, preparation, and assembly)
• Accurate completion of data entry and paperwork related to the assembly area. Understand, support, and contribute to current Polymicro/Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO), Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
