Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the timely execution of all activities and decisions associated with inventory control, ordering of raw material, account management, supply chain, customer service, purchasing and / or scheduling in support of the daily functions of the warehouse and production departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performs required administrative and general office/clerical duties in support of the warehouse and production departments
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other associates, vendors and carriers with little supervision
  • Performs accurate entry of orders / data into the Order Management system via various methods: EDI, Telephone, Fax, or Email
  • Executes and provides proper follow-up for expedited orders and order changes
  • Ability to complete short and long term projects and deal with multiple tasks and prioritized duties
  • Arranges shipments by confirming stock to determine inventory levels, anticipated delivery requirements, and placing / expediting order deliveries
  • Product knowledge aptitude for WinCup product line
  • Detailed oriented and have proven time management skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with internal and external suppliers, customers and internal functional groups
  • Perform duties associated with scheduling inbound and/or outbound activities to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills a must
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the supply chain process
  • Ability to solve complex issues in a proactive manner
  • Conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner
  • Purchase of raw material and packaging products
  • Perform cycle counts and reports for finished goods and raw materials
  • Responsible for informing the leadership team immediately of any failure to meet established quality standards to ensure that corrective action is taken
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership team

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a warehouse coordinator, warehouse expeditor, inventory scheduling or related experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain and order entry
  • Must have strong problem solving and decision making skills, organized and able to follow-up
  • Requires strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Forklift operation certification preferred

Physical Demands:

The characteristics listed below are representative of the physical demands required by an individual to successfully perform the essential duties of a position in our manufacturing plants. Note that office positions located within our Manufacturing Plants often require some plant floor presence throughout the day so that while these demands may not always apply, they should still be noted.
  • Team Member will frequently be required to actively listen and exchange information
  • Team Member will be required to observe and assess information in a fast paced environment
  • Requires frequent use of a production, manufacturing equipment and/or machinery
  • Will be required to frequently move/transport materials weighing up to 50 pounds which may require frequent bending, twisting and reaching motions
  • Team Member may be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time
  • Team Member may be required to stand for long periods up to 8, 10 or 12 hours shifts
  • Team Member may be required to talk, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle and feel objects, tools, and controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch

Working Conditions:

The characteristics listed below are representative of the work environment typically encountered by an individual while performing the essential duties of a position in our manufacturing plants. Note that office positions located within our Manufacturing Plants often require some plant floor presence throughout the day so these work environment details may not always apply, they should still be noted.
  • Work space is one that contains moving mechanical parts
  • Requires work in an indoor manufacturing environment that may be exposed to extreme heat that is not air conditioned
  • Work environment contains loud noises and odors that may last for long periods of time or on a continual basis as well as occasional airborne particles
  • Must wear PPE while working, which includes hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses with side guards at all times
  • Ability to work an 8+, 10+ or 12+ hour shifts as designated
  • Able to work weekdays, weekends and overtime as designated
