Pay: $22- $26 Hourly DOE

Hours: 6am- 3:30pm

Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing according to specifications. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Assembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and more according to directions.
2. Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications.
3. Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
4. Maintains logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies.
5. Maintains equipment and conveyors and performs basic repairs when needed.
6. Inventories tools, parts, and supplies; contacts materials handler if supplies are needed.
7. Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
8. Exhibit teamwork in all you do, maintaining a positive and team-based attitude. Support peers in time of high demand by working hours assigned and overtime as required; also comply with scheduled start/stop times and break periods for the facility.
9. Ability to confidently communicate, interact and build customer relationships supporting Maverick Power's culture.
10. Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
2. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
3. Detail oriented and consistent.
4. Works well as a productive member of a team.
5. Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
6. Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.
7. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
8. Must be dependable and extremely trustworthy. Must be able to complete criminal record background check.
9. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
10. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

1. Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks.
2. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
3. Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products or machines as directed.
4. Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
5. Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
6. Must wear gloves and ear protection.
