Job title: Mobile HVAC / Maintenance Technician
What this job involves
As a Mobile HVAC/ Maintenance Technician, you'll operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment across multiple facilities to ensure optimal efficiency and equipment longevity. You'll focus on energy-efficient operations, minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance, and performing comprehensive interior and exterior property inspections and repairs.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Perform preventive maintenance and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and building systems
• Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building components
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence reporting on conditions impacting client operations
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and after-hours building activities
• Prepare detailed summary reports on work performed and recommend corrective actions
• Study and maintain proficiency with building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and related equipment
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and State, County, or City ordinances and codes
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Must be able to climb up to 30 ft ladders
• Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required
• Must be willing and able to support after-hours building-related activities
Required Qualifications:
• Universal EPA 608 Certification
• Minimum 4 years technical experience in building engineering
• Strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance
• Valid state driver's license (must maintain)
• Ability to comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping
• Knowledge of State, County, and City ordinances, codes, and laws
• Willingness to attend periodic training seminars
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
• Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology
• Experience working in service-related roles specific to commercial facilities
• Familiarity with building automation systems • Experience with fire/life safety systems
• Background in energy-efficient building operations

Estimated compensation for this position:
66,560.00 - 72,800.00 USD per year
This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
