Position Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing key accounting functions including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting the month-end close process. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations while providing insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.
• Maintain and monitor fixed asset schedules and depreciation.
• Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
