Please send your resume to ...@optimagroupinc.net Job Description: Optimize the distribution of goods in USA and MEX, develops quality plans, design test methods and gages, identify potential failure modes and process weaknesses and drive corrective actions, reduce logistics operations costs, designs safety protocols for our drivers and check and supervise all third-party logistics companies we hire to ensure they comply with our safety protocols, streamline the flow of products in our different warehouses and improving the rotation of our inventories, reduce rework by maximizing time for our delivery routes, plan an efficient inbound/outbound flow in our warehouses, cost-benefit analysis: finding the best approach to achieve benefits to preserve savings, evaluate and improve the performance of current and new processes and systems that will help us work efficiently and effectively Requirements: Bachelors in Industrial Engineering 24 months of training required in: Sales operations: Opening and restructuring of new routes, on-board coaching in routes with sales representatives, management and training of new personnel on the use of Hand Held 60 Months of experience required: Logistic Engineer: inventory control of perishable products, product rotation and arrangement at the point of sale and coordinator of food distribution center Skills required: Spanish required 24 months of experience in Hand Held Travel Details: TRAVEL WITHIN USA (25% OF THE TIME): a) Quarterly visits to warehouses at border points, mainly in Laredo, TX, Nogales AZ and Calexico, CA b) Annual visit to main suppliers, as well as potential suppliers both in the USA and abroad, in order to coordinate the logistics of importing the products, as well as validation of label and barcode needs: MEXICO, EL SALVADOR, NICARAGUA & ECUADOR c) Participate in the main transportation, export and import expo-shows in the USA and abroad Wage: Starting at $94,000.00
