PEMB & FOUNDATION DESIGN ENGINEER, PE
Are you a go-getter with deep MBS knowledge and a sharp eye for detail? We're hiring a Design Engineer to join a tight-knit, experienced team known for their commitment to quality and innovation in steel building systems. This remote role offers the best of both worlds: high-impact projects and the flexibility to do your best work without the distractions of a traditional office.
What You'll Do
- Design pre-engineered metal buildings across all complexity levels
- Review and clarify conflicts in drawings and documentation
- Modify and work within MBS databases (required)
- Collaborate with drafters to redline and finalize drawing sets
- Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and clients
- Engage in foundation design (preferred, but training available)
- PE License (Arizona preferred; reciprocity accepted)
- Strong command of MBS, including modifying files and working in databases
- 6-10+ years of relevant experience preferred (but we're open to the right skillset)
- Understanding of how PEMB systems function in the field
- Foundation design experience (80% of projects include this scope)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Efficient, self-directed work style suited for remote success
