Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role will manage day-to-day accounting operations, support audits, lead month-end close, and help streamline financial processes in a growing and mission-focused organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial statements
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for leadership
• Manage AR/AP, fixed assets, and inventory accounting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit process
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members
• Implement process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
• Support budgeting and strategic financial planning efforts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g. Great Plains)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus
