Job Title: Accounting Manager
Concept Type: Restaurant Industry
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Salary: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
Office Setting: Must be comfortable working in a small office setting with no more than 5 people
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is a plus, but not mandatory
- Proven accounting experience, ideally within the restaurant or hospitality sectors
- Strong grasp of financial reporting, payroll processing, accounts payable, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems, with experience in R365 and/or Paychex Flex being advantageous
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, paired with strong organizational skills
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately document business transactions, including sales and accounts payable, to ensure accurate financial statements
- Oversee the reconciliation, review, audit, and analysis of financial statements and supporting schedules
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and databases, ensuring compliance
- Manage and process payroll for restaurant employees, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Handle company payables, ensuring timely and accurate invoice payments
- Collaborate with various departments to provide operational support and resolve any issues
