Job Description

The Architectural Project Manager will be the main client contact and oversee all aspects of the project, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems. The position involves leadership, mentoring, and developing staff. Projects may include healthcare, education, civic, housing, and commercial architecture.

• Oversees a team of architects to ensure projects are completed on time and meet specifications.
• Delegates work and assignments based on expertise, experience, and deadlines.
• Interfaces with principals, project teams, consultants, and clients.
• Works collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams.
• Conducts site planning and zoning research.
• Attends planning, zoning, and municipal meetings.
• Provides code review and analysis.
• Creates detailed plans for complex construction drawings.
• Manages project schedules, budgets, and cost projections.
• Supervises activities related to drawing and specification preparation.
• Uses Bluebeam for organizing project materials and reviewing drawings.
• Prepares and coordinates project packages.
• Performs construction administration tasks, including submittal review and documentation.
• Understands proposals, contracts, and scope of services.
• May participate in project pursuit and marketing.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in architecture or related field with technical experience.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of construction documentation and coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with sustainable design.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and consulting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Cost estimating skills are preferred.
• Architectural license highly preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range is $80,000 - $100,000 per year. Benefits details can be provided upon request.
