What You'll Do
As a key member of our team, you'll:
Manage complex roadway and transit design projects
Lead planning and design teams to meet schedules, budgets, and client expectations
Solve technical challenges with creativity and strategic thinking
Support business development and client engagement across Arizona and the Southwest
Collaborate with global teammates to maximize digital tools and design capabilities
Contribute to Jacobs' mission of building a company like no other
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license
15+ years of transportation experience, with a focus on roadway and/or transit design
2-5 years of project management experience in transportation design
Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills
Experience with DOT, county, or municipal projects
Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer, InRoads, and MicroStation
Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills
Ideally, you'll also have:
Recognition as a transportation industry thought leader
Experience with multi-discipline infrastructure design and construction
Proven success with alternative delivery models (Design-Build, CMAR, P3)
Established client relationships in Arizona
Familiarity with ADOT plan preparation
