Position Summary:

CNA National Warranty Corporation is seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join our team as a Dealership Risk Analytics, Lead, a mid-level role that blends in-depth analysis with strategic, consultative engagement. This position plays a key role in supporting CNA National's largest agent and dealer partners by providing actionable insights, risk assessments, and profitability strategies that drive shared success. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with a consultative mindset—capable of turning complex data into strategies that influence both internal decision-makers and external stakeholders. This role will work full-time, onsite at our office in Old Town Scottsdale.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance & Profitability Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis on dealer performance, claims trends, and key financial metrics to identify opportunities for enhancing dealer and company profitability.
  • Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Evaluate financial risk exposure related to dealer behavior, claims activity, and contract performance. Recommend cost-mitigation strategies for high-risk accounts to protect CNA National's bottom line.
  • Loss Ratio & Claims Analysis: Monitor trends in claims frequency, severity, and emerging patterns to assess profitability impact and detect potential fraud risks.
  • Underwriting & Pricing Support:
  • Partner with actuarial and underwriting teams to assess dealer risk profiles and support accurate pricing strategies.
  • Provide financial impact assessments and risk-based insights to support pricing negotiations and strategic account decisions.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Identify external market trends, regulatory shifts, and emerging risks that may influence dealer behavior and company performance.
  • Client Engagement & Consultation: Deliver high-impact, consultative presentations to key external partners—translating complex analytics into business strategies that improve performance and reduce risk.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a strategic advisor to major agent and dealer accounts by proactively offering insights that optimize results and build long-term trust.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams—including actuarial, finance, claims, and sales—to ensure alignment on pricing strategies, profitability targets, and risk frameworks.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, Data Analytics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in risk analysis, underwriting, pricing strategy, or business analytics—ideally within automotive insurance, extended warranty, or F&I.
  • Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, or other strategic advisory roles is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of underwriting principles, pricing models, and claims analysis in the context of vehicle service contracts and dealer programs.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with SQL or Python/R is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights that influence business decisions.
  • Professional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging directly with external stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively to influence outcomes and drive profitability.
