Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Training Order Specialist to fill an opening at a solar company, a global leader in PV inverters and energy storage systems.


Schedule: Hybrid position based in Phoenix, AZ, travel up to 10%.


Requirements for Training Order Specialist:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or experience working with quotes and purchase orders (POs).
  • Bachelors degree or technical degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience in quotes and POs.
  • Preferred experience in the solar industry, particularly in coordination or quote management for renewable energy projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with CRM management tools; familiarity with SAP C4 Hana is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with superb time-management and project-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Prior experience in roles such as Order Management Specialist, Procurement Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator, Quote Specialist or Customer Service Specialist is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Training Order Specialist:

  • Accurately process quotes and ensure timely customer contact via email to secure POs.
  • Monitor the status of quotes and POs to ensure on-time payment.
  • Maintain regular communication with vendors and customers to track PO progress and address any delays.
  • Collaborate with the training and accounting teams to provide real-time updates on payment status.
  • Double-check the internal training system to ensure all details are current and accurate.
  • Resolve issues related to pending POs, including initiating discounts or quote adjustments when necessary.
  • Input all information from quotes and POs accurately into the internal system to prepare for invoicing.
