Position OverviewLedgent Finance & Accounting's client is actively seeking an AP 1099 and Vendor Maintenance professional to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This temporary role will extend through mid-February of next yea r, starting with AP support duties and transitioning to cover a maternity leave coverage which will focus on vendor maintenance, ACH, wire payment approval, and1099 reporting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the AP team, especially during a software system upgrade.ResponsibilitiesProvide AP support by scanning invoices, sending out payments to vendors, and performing miscellaneous AP support functions.Vendor maintenance: Set up all new vendors in system and update existing vendor information.Enter ACH and wire banking information into software, maintaining project progress.Approve ACH, wire, and check payment runs with a detailed first-level review of invoices in each payment batch.Take meeting minutes during weekly staff meetings.Utilize software and reports to compile1099 forms and submit filings with the IRS and state.Qualifications2+ years of AP vendor maintenance & set upExperience with ACH paymentsStrong attention to detail a MUST!Great time management and organizational skills.Proficiency in ExcelWillingness to commit to the entire duration of the position (June2025 - February 2026).Strong computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems.Ability to follow directions well and work independently.Strong teamwork skills and ability to be a great team player.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience with any ERP system, with preference for Epicor and Kinetic experience.Required Work Hours1st shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday (on-site)BenefitsThe position offers a competitive pay range with a maximum of $30 and a minimum of $27 per hour. Additional benefits may be discussed during the interview process.Additional DetailsThe role does not require previous AP support experience; however, experience in AP 1099 reporting and vendor setup and maintenance is crucial. The candidate must be willing to commit for the entire duration of the assignment June2025 - February 2026.
