Position Overview
The Concession Stand Manager is responsible for overseeing a concession stand or portable locations for an event. The Concession Stand Manager is responsible for ensuring quality products and services for concession stand workers, hourly employees, Temporary or NFP. The Concession Stand Manager must be familiar with all food and beverage items available as well as prep techniques and quantities. The Stand Manager is also responsible for inventory of all items in the location and is required to take an open and closed inventory.
Essential Job Functions
The Concession Stand Manager is the key for success for the workers assigned to report to you each event. The Concession Stand Manager is responsible for ensuring all pre-game inventory is accounted for on the day of the event. The successful Concession Stand Manager will manage your assigned location by communicating with various points of contact (i.e., Warehouse, Concession Supervisor, Asst. Concession Manager, other Supervisors) to ensure the satisfaction of all guests and workers at each concession location. The Concession Stand Manager is to assist with any guest complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution for the guest. At the end of each event the Concession Stand Manager is to make sure all the necessary paperwork is accurately completed and turned in for final accounting. The Concession Stand Manager is to coach each team member on closing duties to clean and prepare the concession location for future events. Plus, inspection of stand at End of Day and complete closeout of location.
