For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPEThe Lubrication Technician Apprentice will be involved with servicing and performing light maintenance on the mobile construction equipment at the remote job sites. This individual will be changing fluids, greasing moving parts, changing filters and cleaning equipment. Individuals will be expected to perform their duties outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel may be required. PRIMARY DUTIESChange oils in all compartments on equipmentPrepares oil samplesChanging various filters on equipmentGrease bearings and applies grease on friction surfacesCheck and fill other fluid reservoirs such as hydraulic systems, coolant systems, brake systems and washer fluidMaintains service truck inventories and suppliesReports on any defects in or on equipment to the supervisorMaintain proper documentation of service work performedCleans machinery cabs, glass and mirrorsPerform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTSValid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsements or the ability to acquire a CDL and HazmatAcceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy is requiredMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug testAbility to complete work tasks under various weather conditions including heat over 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snowAbility to communicate effectivelyAbility to operate various hand tools to perform service workKnowledge of industrial and shop safety rules and proceduresTravel may be required Fisher Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
