Essential Function

Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Primary Duties

• 30% Brand: Supervise and support associates' daily goals and activities to deliver exceptional client experiences, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, and dress code are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands.
• 30% People: Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit actively and identify strengths and opportunities for associates through coaching or counseling. Maintain positive relations, resolve concerns, and foster diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
• 30% Operations: Ensure execution of company processes through training, management, analysis, and continuous improvement. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and ensure compliance with directives and projects.
• 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe environment, follow policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with HAZMAT training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Preferred: 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience
• Preferred: 1+ year management experience
• Ability to lead/support teams, communicate effectively, and meet scheduling needs
• Cosmetology license desirable but not required
