salary: $27.99 - $28 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, job duties include:

  • Collect, analyze, and process financial data related to accounting, budgeting, auditing, and funding activities.
  • Ensure all financial operations comply with applicable federal, state, and organizational rules and regulations.
  • Evaluate and apply budgetary policies and procedures effectively.
  • Analyze new or proposed legislation to assess fiscal and organizational impacts.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate professionally with diverse internal teams and external partners, including federal and state agencies.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years working as a Financial Analyst for a Government Agency or a Public Service Setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of government accounting principles, concepts, practices, and methodologies.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply relevant legislation and policy documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
