Job Details

Operates and maintains assorted equipment and machinery including tractors, water trucks, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks, and other heavy equipment for daily assignments and services. Assignments include maintaining and repairing City roadways, sidewalks, right-of-ways, and other infrastructure. General labor will be required on a daily basis. After-hours on-call work, as well as occasional night and weekend hours, are required. Works with other divisions/departments and performs related duties as assigned. Essential Functions Maintains roadways by cleaning away debris and waste, repairing potholes, crack sealing, and road patching with hot asphalt. Works closely with crew members to complete tasks directed by the Team Lead and/or Supervisor. Operates water trucks, dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, street sweepers, and other heavy equipment as needed.
